NFL commissioner Roger Goodell delivered his annual pre-Super Bowl State of the League address on Friday and what was expected to be an interesting session became even more interesting courtesy of a New York Times reporter. Ken Belson was given the mic and proceeded to ask the big guy if he deserved a pay cut based upon his performance over the past year.
Belson definitely knows it’s a ballsy question, regardless of one’s opinion on how Goodell handled himself in 2014, and immediately looks down before ducking for cover as he quickly finishes the question. The commish is clearly shaken by Belson and takes a brief moment to react before delivering the answer that everyone assumed was coming.
