Rex Ryan came out guns blazin’ one day after his new team, the Buffalo Bills, beat the Colts in spectacular fashion. The former Jets coach is now preparing to face the Patriots in their quest for a 2-0 mark, one that would be the most impressive in the NFL.
One of the players that could cause some discomfort (albeit minimal after their performance against Indianapolis) on defense is Patriots multi-dimensional running back Dion Lewis, who burst onto the national scene last Thursday night after not playing in a game since 2012.
Ryan was asked about Lewis and instead of giving the standard “Great player, brings a lot to their team…blah blah blah” response, he elected for something a little more chalkboard-worthy:
Rex Ryan was asked about Dion Lewis today: “I don’t think we’re gonna focus on that kid. I can’t even tell you that kid’s name.”
