The New England Patriots are set to take on the New York Jets for Thursday Night Football and while Bill Belichick may not be saying much, the Patriots Twitter handle has had no problem firing some shots at the team’s divisional rivals.
Forever immortalized on Thanksgiving of 2012, the Mark Sanchez butt-fumble may be one of the greatest things to ever happen in NFL history. The buttfumble has its own Wikipedia page for god’s sake. The moment accurately captured the Jets’ futility over the past couple of seasons and posting it was a perfect troll job by the Patriots (unlike the Jets who managed to screw up their own hype video for Thursday’s game).
Mark Sanchez may be gone from New York but the butt-fumble is forever.
