Marshawn Lynch’s game may speak loudly but his silence at (or absence from) media sessions are going to cost him big.

After Marshawn refused to speak to the media following the Seattle Seahawks’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the NFL came down hard Lynch. The league office not only fined Marshawn $50,000, they reinstated a previous fine of $50,000 from last year which was lifted on the condition that Lynch attended future press conferences.

Apparently, this exchange with Mike Silver following the loss wasn’t enough to “count” for the NFL. It seems like it should, because this quote is more interesting than what is usually spewed after a game.

Do I think I’ll be gone after this season? I don’t know, man. The Seahawks, their front office gets in the media; they talk a lot. I don’t talk too much. I just play the game.

If they have something going on, I don’t know about it.

Hopefully, some of that #GOODKARMA will be coming Marshawn’s way soon.
