On Thursday morning, Vince Wilfork issued an extremely classy message to Patriots fans where he informed them that the Patriots were not going to pick up his option for next season.
However, Vince gave no hints that he was looking to retire from the NFL. In response, fans of other teams began to make their own proclamations of where Wilfork should play next year.
For his part, Lil’ Wayne suggested the Packers as a great landing spot for Vince.

Despite his Louisiana roots, Lil’ Wayne is actually a pretty big Packers fan, and he’s even gone as far as creating a remix of Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” called “Green and Yellow” to honor his favorite team.
Wilfork thanked Wayne for his tweet, even if he didn’t immediately say yes to Wayne’s recruitment pitch.
@LilTunechi appreciate the love
