A lawsuit has been filed against LeSean McCoy for his alleged role in a home invasion back in July.
According to TMZ, Delicia Cordon, ex-girlfriend to the Buffalo Bills running back, is suing McCoy for “at least” $10 million alleging she was pistol-whipped by a masked man at his Georgia Home. Her friend, Elizabeth Donald, is suing for $3.5 million for “damages suffered.” Cordon alleges McCoy facilitated the break-in, which left her seriously injured (graphic photo warning).
Cordon alleges McCoy ordered people to break into the house – owned by him – to get previously gifted jewelry and scare her from moving out. McCoy wasn’t arrested or charged after the incident, nor did he receive any suspension from the NFL.
In order for the lawsuit to succeed, it needs to be proven McCoy was liable for and/or had a role in the break-in. McCoy has denied the allegations, calling them “baseless and offensive.” It’s now up to the courts will decide whether McCoy is culpable.
