I’ll watch reality television every once in a while to try and stay in the know about current pop culture happenings. I missed the entire “Honey Boo Boo” and “Dance Moms” craze but these stations keep coming out with those types of shows are low cost.
Baller Wives is one of those shows that has stuck around because it involves athletes and their spouses. You get to follow the athletes and get to see the drama that is produced from interactions with other couples.
One couple is taking center stage and is going to be a storyline that will surely need to be followed. Chris Chambers, a former wide receiver in the NFL has reportedly married his old stalker and you guessed it, both appear on the show.
Here is the info from when Stacey Saunders, now Stacey Chambers got in trouble for stalking back in 2009:
“A 27-year-old San Diego woman who had an affair with former Charger Chris Chambers has been charged with 11 misdemeanor counts for allegedly stalking and harassing the wide receiver’s family.
Stacey Bernice Saunders is due in court Jan. 19 for arraignment, said Paul Levikow, a spokesman for the District Attorney’s Office.
Chambers’ wife, Christina, told San Diego police in April that Saunders was harassing her with phone calls. Two months later, Chambers requested a temporary restraining order against Saunders, saying she has “launched an incessant attack verbally on me, and now my wife, her mother and sister.”
Another former NFLer on the show, Asante Samuel wasn’t going to let Chambers get away with this new marriage scot free, in fact, it is all he seems to be posting about on Instagram.
A lot of this is obviously done to drum up interest in the show but the pure circus of it all can’t be denied. I had absolutely no desire to tune into Baller Wives but now I need to see this through to its natural end point. This won’t be the end of this Chambers and Samuel spat.
