It was announced late Wednesday night that free agent wide receiver Eric Decker has chosen to sign with the New York Jets, who will paying him handsomely:
Jets are giving former Broncos WR Eric Decker a 5-year, $36.25M deal, including $15M gtd, per source.

It’s a great move for Decker’s celebrity, considering he’s now playing in one of the biggest media markets in the world and certainly isn’t afraid to step into the spotlight.
It may not be a great move for his career on the football however, considering he now goes from catching passes from Peyton Manning to catching passes from…well, someone far less talented than Peyton Manning…and now has to line up opposite Darrelle Revis twice a year.
