It is no secret that the New York Giants have had their fair share of struggles in recent years, finishing with a losing record in six of their last seven seasons. And unfortunately, the players and their families realize this as well and are seemingly quite over it.
Things may not get much better next season either, as the Giants lost two-time Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley in free agency to their division rival in Philadelphia.
Going from the Giants organization to the Eagles will certainly be a bit of a culture shock for Barkley and his family. But it seems like his daughter Jada in particular will be quite happy with the success her dad will likely have in Philadelphia on a team level.
On Wednesday, Barkley told a hilarious story of how Jada reacted to the news of him signing in Philadelphia, savagely roasting the Giants in the process.
“When I told her that we were gonna be going to Philly, she was kinda just like ‘Does that mean we are going to win now?’ I was like hopefully, hopefully that means that we’re going to win some more games.”

It’s pretty remarkable that we have gotten to the point where kids now see the Giants as a losing franchise, largely because they had experienced a ton of success in the early 2000s, winning two Super Bowl Championships with Eli Manning under center.
Yet here we are, and it doesn’t look like all that much is set to change for the Giants barring a terrific haul in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
