It’s been a great season for the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans. The team is 7-1, pretty clearly the best team in football at this moment, and even in a monsoon, they destroyed the San Francisco 49ers to push their winning streak to six games. However, this fan didn’t have the best of days, as he was defeated by stupidity, and a piece of public convience. Behold:
To say that this fan is 1-7 in life might be overstating things a touch, but look at the reaction on his face after he fell flat on his rear end. He’s badly looking for sympathy from his friends that isn’t coming. And the guy in the poncho is just staring at him, transfixed on what he just saw, and rightfully so. The shriek of agony from someone off camera also adds to the drama of the situation brilliantly.
But the fan just get right back up, grabs his beer and heads on his way as if nothing happened. Maybe that would have been the case for many other fans who have tried to do the same slide down a handrail before smartphones were invented, but the internet never forgets.
