In a stunt that is becoming as common as cheating accusations against the Patriots, a Philadelphia Eagles fan decided to go and get an “Eagles 2016” tattoo accompanied by hands raised up towards the Lombardi Trophy.
As has been well-documented by now, getting a premature tattoo celebrating your team’s hopeful championship rarely ends up well.
On the bright side for this guy, at least he didn’t explicitly say that the Eagles would win the Super Bowl with his tattoo. Worse comes to worse, he could simply explain that his tattoo represents the Eagles’ 2016 quest for a Lombardi Trophy that is just out of reach.
