Sure, he was “hit” (flailing into his own lineman) as he threw, but Brees questionably decided to lob the ball to the middle of the field, while going to the ground. There was approximately a three percent chance* of that play going well for the Saints. That had to be the easiest interception of Danny Lansanah’s career.
