Over the past several months, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has shot up in popularity after he began dating pop superstar Taylor Swift, and he seems to have even caught the attention of former United States President Donald Trump.
Leading up to the Super Bowl LVIII matchup between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, Donald Trump sent a message to Taylor Swift, arguing that she should be supporting him after he signed the Music Modernization Act, which he claims “made her so much money.”
“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will. There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
As part of that argument to Swift, Trump also sent a clear message to Travis Kelce, admitting that he is actually a fan of the star tight end, even though he “may be a Liberal.”
“Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!” Trump said.
So in an unlikely turn of events, it sounds like Trump is a fan of Kelce.
