Zach Wilson’s ex-girlfriend, Abbey Gile, is betrothed to marry to Dax Milne, a Washington Commanders wide receiver and former roommate of Wilson’s at BYU.
“She said, ‘Yes,'” Milne wrote on Instagram with an attached heart and ring emoji.
As The Daily Mail noted, Gile and Wilson dated from high school through 2022.
Gile was labeled a “homie hopper” on social media for later dating Milne, Wilson’s childhood friend and former BYU roommate.
However, Gile ended those jokes when she revealed that Wilson was the real “homie hopper” because their relationship ended due to his romance with his mother’s best friend.
“He was sleeping with his mom’s best friend… that’s the real homie hopper,’ Gile wrote on Instagram.
As The Daily Mail noted, Wilson never confirmed those rumors, despite social media users flooding his mother’s inbox inquiring about which of her friends had been with her son.
Gile and Milne’s engagement comes days after Wilson popped the question to then-girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno on June 30th on the Amalfi Coast in Italty.
The Daily Mail reported the two were then seen “getting handsy” during Fourth of July celebrations with Wilson’s family back home in Utah.
The Broncos begin their 2024 campaign on Sept. 15 at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
