Cam Newton’s got jokes. One of the biggest offseason storylines has been the ridiculous DeflateGate story, one that was overblown, overdone, over-reported, over-everything and one that will not go away until Tom Brady has served his suspension, or many months beyond that.
And even though most of the story’s chatter has calmed down over the last few weeks, many jokes and shots are still being lobbed in Brady’s direction, including one by Cam Newton. The Panthers QB was holding the Cam Newton QB Skills Challenge prior to the IMG NFA 7v7 National Championship when he was snapped an under-inflated ball. After gripping the ball and preparing his throw, Newton soon realized it was underinflated and threw shade at Brady:
