According to Fox 19 in Cincinnati, a bar manager has accused Bengals linebacker and former USC standout, Rey Maualuga of punching him and “causing him to be injured.”
According to the manager, Maualuga was at Luxe, a bar located at the corner of 6th St. and Main St. in downtown Cincinnati, where he allegedly punched the manager, causing him to be injured.
The incident happened near closing time at the bar early Sunday morning. Luxe manager Sammy Laham described the scene to FOX19. “One of them said something at which point I repeated myself, that they had to leave, and then Rey Maualuga got up, took three or four steps and punched me in the face, more noticeably the eye, then my nose started to bleed. Then security diffused the situation.”
Rey has yet to be charged but officials are investigating the incident.
