New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has not shied away from his criticism of former United States President Donald Trump even before Trump was convicted on 34 counts. And this weekend, Rodgers caused quite a reaction when he completely ignored the former president at the UFC 302 event which they both attended.

As political commentator Ron Filipkowsi pointed out on social media, Donald Trump was greeted by many people as he made his way to his seat during the event, but Aaron Rodgers was not one of them as the quarterback completely ignored the former president.

“Aaron Rodgers remains in his seat and ignores Convicted Felon Trump as he walks by tonight at the UFC fight,” Filipkowsi said in a post X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, this video caused a lot of reactions on social media.

Rodgers recently criticized Trump during an appearance on a controversial podcast.

“Trump, okay, Trump’s an outsider, all the rhetoric, we’re going to drain a swamp and go after the corruption. And I don’t think a lot happened,” Rodgers said on the podcast.

Rodgers’ biggest criticism of Trump was that he followed the advice of Dr. Tony Fauci during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“And what I fault him for is Tony Fauci, because he is an establishment pharmacrat since he got in, and he’s been in forever, and he’s the highest paid government official. And he let, and not only did Trump push the vaccine, Operation Warp Speed, or whatever the [heck] it was, but he let Fauci stay in charge and shut the country down,” Rodgers said.

This could have played a role in Rodgers’ decision to snub Trump.
