Kliff Kingsbury is left with an extra spot on his Texas Tech football roster today if anyone is interested.
Incoming freshman DB Nigel Bethel II was playing a game of pickup basketball on Saturday in Lubbock and felt the need to hammer Lady Raiders basketball player Amber Battle square in the mug. Battle, a senior, suffered broken bones in her face and underwent immediate surgery.
After quickly reviewing the idiotic decision, Texas Tech immediately removed the former 4-star recruit (via ESPN) from the roster. Bethel played at prep powerhouse Booker T. Washington in Miami before arriving in Lubbock this summer.
