Iowa State kicker Cole Netten was lining up a game-winning 42-yard field goal to defeat in-state rival Iowa, a kick that would give the Cyclones a massive morale boost after two brutal early-season losses. Unfortunately Netten missed the kick and ISU would be forced to play overtime…except Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz called timeout before he kicked and the redshirt sophomore would get another shot.
