Ohio State is one of the few programs in the nation that brings national intrigue no matter what they do. They always have a fervent following. So what comes with it is irrational hate and irrational love.
When the school released images of the football team’s new alternate uniforms that will be worn in “The Game” against the University of Michigan. The comments were divided. Fans and haters couldn’t really come to an agreement on whether or not the jerseys were any good.

Luckily, I am here to give you the proper info. They’re good.
If you are a fan of college athletics at all, you should know that these alternate uniforms are used as marketing for recruits. It is the equivalent of putting a big, shiny sign around your neck and making everyone come look at you. That is why these big schools do it a couple of times a year.
Many will argue that schools like Alabama don’t have to pull such tricks to get recruits but that is the issue, not every school is the University of Alabama. And why should they be? Having fun shouldn’t be limited to certain schools. Ohio State is a powerhouse but they can get in on the fun like every other school.
Traditionalists may be upset but this isn’t for them anyway. It is for the fans willing to pay $149 and for the recruits that might be swayed by it.
