You’re not going to believe this, but the Oklahoma City Thunder just lost another player to an injury. Andre Roberson, one of the players you’ve never heard of assigned to keep the team afloat while Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook sit out with injuries, sprained his ankle early in Monday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, and is not slated to return.
Roberson heads directly to the locker room…Back to eight bodies the Thunder goes. — Darnell Mayberry (@DarnellMayberry) November 4, 2014
Official word on Andre Roberson is a left foot sprain. He will not return. Thunder left with eight healthy players once again.

The Thunder actually entered the game with nine available players, as Reggie Jackson was finally cleared to play, but it didn’t take long for that number to drop back down to eight. The only good news for the Thunder these days is that the easiest part of the schedule happens to coincide with this rash of injuries, but a roster of 8 or 9 healthy bodies is still going to have a hard time keeping pace on a night to night basis. Case in point: they’re currently down 59-40 at halftime against the Nets.
