Former NBA players Sonny Weems and Nenad Krstic currently are teammates on CSKA Moscow of the Russian Professional Basketball League, but it appears when they hopped across the pond, they took more than just their basketball talents with them. The two flexed their commercial acting chops recently in an attempt to sell Russians on the “better ingredients” of Papa John’s, and the result is a triple-threat of mediocrity: NBA journeymen/washouts, selling mediocre pizza (I’m being generous, but in the spirit of the New Year, I’ll be nice), from a company with mediocre poor business practices (sorry, had to stop being nice — it was fun while it lasted though). Hey, at least there’s a hot chick sitting in a tub and Krstic’s goofy inflatable hat.
