The Milwaukee Bucks finished with the worst record in the NBA this season, which means they were just bad enough to secure the best shot at landing the #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft in June. In anticipation of the NBA Draft lottery on May 20th, the organization is drumming up excitement among locals by sending out Bucks-branded ping pong balls to fans. According to Ball Don’t Lie, the Bucks sent the ball out to approximately 10,000 fans, including former season ticket holders, and ones the Bucks deem to be “good prospects”.
While the Bucks only have a 25% chance of landing the #1 pick, they’re guaranteed no worse than the fourth pick in arguably the most loaded draft in a decade. So, odds are they’ll walk away with an impact player under any scenario.
