I am of the mindset that airballing a dunk is worse than airballing a free throw. Last night during the Miami Heat’s domination of the Brooklyn Nets, none other than King James fell victim to the rare and dreaded dunk airball. LeBron grabbed an offensive rebound and had a clear path to the hoop. It looked like he just couldn’t get a grip on the ball, and you know what happened next.
And then there was the case of Dwight Howard who is just really bad at shooting free throws.
