Sorry, not that Kobe. That Kobe probably won’t be dunking over LeBron James anytime soon (or likely ever again, if we’re being honest). This Kobe is actually Kobe Paras, the 15-year-old son of of former two-time Philippine Basketball Association Most Valuable Player Benjie Paras. To be fair, LeBron wasn’t exactly trying to contest the warm-up dunk, but Mr. Paras at least has a story to tell his own kids someday.
Meanwhile, LeBron is currently fulfilling his diplomatic duty as an NBA star, making appearances in the basketball-mad Philippines. As a man of the people, LeBron gave the people what they wanted, joining an exhibition game in Manila that some fans had camped out for a week in order to land coveted tickets.
