Once upon a time, Josh Childress was one of basketball’s budding stars. After a underwhelming start to his NBA career with the Atlanta Hawks, Childress took off to play basketball in Greece before coming back to the States for an another underwhelming NBA stint with the Suns, Nets and Pelicans.
Now a 31-year old playing overseas in Australia, Childress is making headlines again under some pretty unfortunate circumstances. As you can see in the video clip above, the former Stanford standout was kicked out of a recent game after delivering an absolutely vicious elbow to the face of an opponent who had set a hard pick on him just a few seconds earlier.
