Doug McDermott has yet to play in a regular season game for the Bulls after being drafted 11th overall at the draft back in June, but the former Creighton forward might have gotten his “welcome to the NBA” moment this week…at the hands of a ball boy.
Coming out of the locker room for the second half of his fourth Summer League game, McDermott was punked hard by a tricky ball boy, creating for a pretty hilarious moment. The ball boy extends a basketball for McDermott to take as he returns to the court then immediately pulls it away, making Dougie McBuckets look pretty silly. The rookie’s got a lot to learn.
