Who knows how long either of Derrick Rose’s knees will hold up this season, but for now he’s back, and, thanks to the New York Knicks being the New York Knicks, only had to play 21 minutes while Taj Gibson and Pau Gasol had their way at Madison Square Garden last night. Let’s just hope Rose never sees this sugary concoction — on sale for $20.99 at a Chicago-area Jewel Osco — because just looking at it might cause an injury.
Oh, who am I kidding? Nothing is sadder than a Derrick Rose injury.
