NBA player Eric Bledsoe was back in his hometown of Birmingham on Saturday to help out some kids by putting on a charity event called the Eric Bledsoe Back to School Rally at Railroad Park. As part of the event he helped give out book bags and other school supplies to over 300 children and their families. Following that portion of the day, Bledsoe participated in a celebrity basketball game which was headlined by himself and DeMarcus Cousins (the two also met back in 2009 during the AHSAA Class 5A state championship semifinal game). The game went very well, and there seemed to be some big numbers thrown on the board by both players.
