With the Toronto Raptors firmly ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 98-71, Jonas Valanciunas of the Raptors fell into a trap of being too trusting of Caron Butler. Once the Raptors got the ball past half court they (like everyone else watching the game) thought that the time would run out and both teams would head to the locker room. Instead, Caron Butler came up to Valanciunas nonchalantly and pretended to give him a high five. Instead he swiped the ball out of the surprised and confused Valanciunas’ hands and took off down the court and was fouled on his layup attempt.
The looks of disgust and bewilderment on the Raptors’ players following the play are priceless.
