The Yankees are accustomed to getting any player they want. This time, it appears they wanted Kenny Powers from HBO’s Eastbound & Down. Since acquiring Powers isn’t exactly possible, the Yankees went with the next best thing: a Kenny Powers look-alike.
Enter Sean Carley. With the 422nd pick in the draft, the Yankees picked up Carley, a pitcher from West Virginia. But, in our hearts, the Yankees actually selected Kenny Powers.
