The Detroit Tigers got tired on Thursday night, and when that happens teams make mistakes. The mistake the Tigers made was trying to score on a Rick Ankiel’s arm. Check out Rick Ankiel’s laser throw from right field in the top of the 11th which cut down the go-ahead run at the plate. Just another case of Rick being Rick. The Tigers still went on to win in 14 innings by a score of 7-3.
