Deion Sanders was (and probably still is) a true freak athlete. The Pro Football Hall of Famer remains the only man to hit an MLB home run and score an NFL touchdown in the same week, accomplishing the feat as a rookie with the Falcons and Yankees in 1989, just months after concluding his outstanding collegiate career at Florida State.
He played for five big league clubs between 1989-2001, along with five NFL teams between 1989-2005 and was routinely forced to rush between games and practices in the two leagues, including in 1989 when he needed to play center field for the Braves.
