The Tampa Bay Rays wasted no time in capitalizing on the latest Tampa Bay Buccaneers signing, as they had Darrell Revis throw out the ceremonial first pitch against the New York Yankees on Monday. The Rays are having noted attendance issues, just averaging 22,634 fans a game for their nine home games so far this season, and having Revis in the house couldn’t hurt anything. On Sunday, Revis signed a six-year, $96 million contract with the Bucs which included no guaranteed money, and Tampa Bay folks can breathe a sigh of relief as Revis did not get injured on the first pitch.
