If you head to a minor league baseball game these days, chances are you’ll see some really strange things. This hilarious highlight comes from a recent Class A game between the Fort Wayne TinCaps and the Great Lakes Loons and is definitely something I’ve never seen before.
In the top of the fifth inning, TinCaps infielder Fernando Perez ran into a sprinkler located near the bullpen down the first place line, setting off a geyser of H20 and soaking everything in sight.
The towering spray halted the game for 18 minutes while the water was controlled and the surrounding area was cleaned up and made safe for play.
