Vin Scully continues to amaze. The ageless wonder in the Dodgers broadcast booth has been calling games since 1950 and while it’s impossible to single out one story, bit or quip that stands above the rest, we can identify a heap of awesome moments during his career.
He added to that legendary list of moments during L.A’s 6-3 victory over Atlanta on Memorial Day when telling a little-known fascinating story from the life of Braves outfielder Jonny Gomes. During the fourth inning, Scully enlightened the viewing audience that Gomes was attacked by a wolf at 12 years old.
