Just a few days removed from being signed as a player/coach for the Iowa Cubs – the Chicago Cubs’ Triple-A affiliate – Manny Ramirez returned to Boston to visit Fenway Park on Wednesday.
Ramirez, who won two World Series titles as a member of the Red Sox from 2001-2008, was one of the former “idiots” who made the trip for the Sox’ plans to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of their 2004 World Championship season.
Manny, who has ditched the long dreadlocks he has sported for the last number of years and went with a brand new mohawk, was all smiles as he hung out with former teammates in the dugout and on the field.
