Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco, for reasons that I cannot completely fathom because of the certain nightmares that this will cause, apparently made this terrifying baseball doll/avatar of teammate Jose Ramirez.
For what it’s worth, Ramirez has struggled so far this season (he’s hitting for a .198 average with a single homer and seven RBIs in 111 at-bats so far this season) but he did hit at a .500 clip and earned three walks in his last three games. Perhaps Carrasco’s good luck charm/baseball monstrosity has something to do with Ramirez’s recent hot streak (I really hope that the baseball isn’t responsible because I’m not sure if I can deal with MORE of these things being made).
