The Black Keys are a Grammy-winning rock band that like to give back to the community from which they hail. (Sidenote: As it turns out, LeBron James is not the only person from Akron, Ohio.)
The Black Keys, who consist of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, are an independent rock band that formed in Akron during the early 2000s, who play a type of low-fi, bluesy garage rock. Recently, they decided to give back a little to their community and sponsored a little league team from their hometown – which instantly made the little leaguers the most popular children’s baseball team since the Bad News Bears. It may not be much to you or me, but this probably made their year. And, it’s better than having Hendrix Mortuary on the back of your jersey. Take a look at the photo below. It looks like the Keys are a pair of good guys.
