Cincinnati Reds pitcher Homer Bailey pitched a no-hitter against the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night, even with the Reds Twitter account doing all they could to jinx the effort. However, this may start a new trend with twitter accounts actually doing the reverse jinx when their team’s pitchers are on fire. Congrats to Homer Bailey for his perfect game as he finished the game with 10 K’s and one walk resulting in a 3-0 victory for the Reds over the Giants. This is the second no-hitter in Homer’s career.
If you are wondering who was the last MLB pitcher to toss a no-hitter and you guessed Homer Bailey, you would be correct.
