There are few rivalries that run deeper than that of Michigan and Ohio State. The Wolverines dislike the Buckeyes so much so that their quarterbacks would rather wear orange Oregon State jerseys in effort to avoid even wearing the color of their most hated rival.
For spring, Michigan quarterbacks are wearing no-contact jerseys as a precaution after backup Russell Bellomy tore his ACL in practice. Usually no-contact jerseys are red, but Michigan wanted nothing to do with the color of their foe, so they are wearing patched-over Oregon State Beavers jerseys instead.
These jerseys are just a temporary fix until custom jerseys from Adidas arrive, according to a report from MLive.com.
