Do not get me wrong, I am a fan of confidence building and rewarding a good job done, but this seems a little excessive to me. Mack Brown, coach of the Texas football team, took to Twitter on Thursday to show off the ring that he gave his team for “winning Bowl game vs #13 Oregon St. & momentum for 2013.” Let me clarify that for you quickly. Mack Brown gave his team a massive ring for winning THE ALAMO BOWL and beating a #13 ranked team in the process. Couple that with ‘momentum’ and you have yourself the reason why he handed out massive diamond studded (it appears that way) rings. I would have thought that a ‘participant ribbon’ would have been a more fitting gift?
