Weezer were basically the only band I listened to in high school. The Blue Album and Pinkerton were always on repeat in my car. I tried to justify their later albums like Make Believe and The Red Album too because I was such a big fan, even though I knew they weren’t their best.
The group’s show has always been amazing, and now Weezer’s drummer, Patrick Wilson, just made this one particular show even more awesome. While performing the Make Believe hit, “Beverly Hills,” Wilson caught a flying frisbee without going off beat! Probably the most exciting thing to happen during that song ever.
Weezer are currently on tour and scheduled to play Riot Fest and LA’s Made In America Festival. The group is also recording their next album and releasing snippets every Wednesday known as “Weezer Wednesday.”
