Some people dislike public transportation, but rarely does “fear of flooding” appear on their list of reasons.
As noted by Gizmodo, Washington DC’s subway was already scheduled to be shut down for a period for maintenance, but after Tuesday’s flooding debacle, it might be shut down for much longer.
Heavy rain poured into the Cleveland Park station and it’s borderline terrifying.
