Patrick Kane hasn’t even been charged with a crime yet but one Chicago news station apparently already knows the verdict and sentencing. The Blackhawks star is under investigation for an alleged rape that occurred in Hamburg, New York last month but there have been no further details released.
However, the story is dominating NHL training camp discussion, especially in Chicago, where ABC 7 News reported that Kane is receiving a life sentence for the alleged incident:

We’re inclined to give them a smidgen of leeway on this because maybe they just meant this incident will hang over his head and career forever regardless of the outcome…maybe?
No, probably not. They just messed it up.
