Back in the 1980’s Everton Football Club was one of the boss clubs in European Football. During their magical run in the 80s, Howard Kendall’s Toffees won two Football League Titles, an FA Cup Trophy, and the 1985 European Cup. It was the most successful time in the club’s history.
Perhaps the best thing to come out of the golden era of Everton Football, is the above video which shows the 1985 team singing ‘Here We Go’ on The Wogan Show before the 1985 FA Cup Final vs. Manchester United.
The video didn’t bring the Toffees any extra luck as they lost to Man United in the final.
It also wasn’t the sole performance by the Blues, as they also performed the song at Abbey Road.
