In a story that appears better suited for a Tommy Lee Jones movie, a small plane landed in the middle of a busy New Jersey highway over the weekend. A single-engine plane was carrying students from the Skydive East Coast skydiving school before it lost power, forcing the pilot to shoot for an emergency landing on Highway 72 along the New Jersey coast.
The plane narrowly avoids smashing a handful of cars as it attempts to gain traction on the pavement before skidding into the grass median. Only a very minor injury to the pilot was reported.
