Former Penn State Nittany Lions football coach Jerry Sandusky was convicted of sexual assault and grooming back in 2012 as he was convicted on 45 counts of sexual abuse of ten boys. And now, he’s speaking out in a shocking interview.
In a recent interview with The Daily Mail from prison, Jerry Sandusky not only claimed that he did nothing wrong, but he also claimed that the victims were “incentivized” by money, claiming that “nobody came forward on their own.”
“I never ever in my life ever thought about molesting anybody,” Sandusky told the Daily Mail. “I was accused of heinous crimes, which I’ve never committed. My wife was my only partner in sex and that was after marriage.”
Sandusky then absolutely blasted his victims as he said that the money they received in damages was “not going to bring them happiness” and claimed that took “an easy road” in life by suing him instead of working for their money.
“I feel that they’ve made some decisions, they had a chance to do it the hard way, making an effort in school, studying, working,” he told DailyMail.com. “They turned that down for an easy road with allegations and to make millions of dollars – that’s not going to bring them happiness.
“That’s very unfortunate for them. I don’t know that much about how they’re living or whatever. But maybe they ought to think about what they’ve done. And all the people who have been hurt.”
Sandusky is currently serving a 30 to 60-year prison sentence for his crimes.
