Indiana Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark has emerged as arguably the most popular and dominant women’s basketball player in the history of the game. And she’s so good that one NBA star even thinks that she could put up points at the NBA level.
During a recent appearance on the “Full Send” podcast, Denver Nuggets star Michael Porter Jr. claimed that Caitlin Clark is “the one girl” who he thinks could put up points at the NBA level, even if she would be al liability on the defensive side of the ball.
“She’s cold, bro. I never watched her play until the tournament, and I was actually in shock how good she was,” Porter said on the podcast according to The Spun. “The way she was and the range she has, she’s like the female Steph Curry.”
“Caitlin is cold. That is the one girl, if she was in an NBA game – on defense she would get cooked, but offensively, she’ll knock down some corner threes or like a swing, swing three. She can shoot from that far.”
It’s unlikely that Clark will ever get a chance to prove what she can do against NBA players, but Porter seems to think she would still be a dangerous shooter.
