Former United States President Donald Trump is an avid golfer who is clearly quite passionate about the sport. After all, he owns several golf courses across the world, is a vocal supporter of LIV Golf and has hosted a number of events, and is regularly seen on the golf course playing himself. But according to one of his political opponents, he might spend a little bit too much time on the golf course.
During a recent interview with The View, Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie – who is running against Donald Trump as he seeks the GOP nomination for president – called out Trump for how much time he spends golfing.
“The guy spends more time playing golf and sitting in a tuxedo at Mar-a-Lago than he does worrying about the concerns and the problems of this country,” Christie said on the show.

Christie’s concerns do seem to have a little bit of merit. After all, Trump went out golfing an estimated 280 times during his presidency at an estimated cost of over $100 million to the American people.
We’ll have to see whether or not Trump is able to secure the Republican nomination or win the general election despite these concerns.
